One of our favourite training classes in our portfolio, the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Foundations (PSF) class is now called Applying Professional Scrum (APS).
We at Red Tangerine are fully supportive is the new name. “Foundations” could be implied that the class gives a foundational introduction into Scrum. Anyone that has taken the class will tell you that this is most certainly not the case! While the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master (PSM) and the Professional Scrum Product Owner classes are focussed on the Scrum Master and Product Owner accountabilities for example, the Professional Scrum Foundations class has always been a superb practical training class for people to learn about Scrum regardless of role or experience. We love the emphasis that the class has on practicing Scrum for real, with participants running real Sprints and building a product during the two days!
Applying Professional Scrum remains the same great class. APS class participants still get to attempt the Professional Scrum Master certification (PSM I) with a free resit if the first attempt is made within 14 days of the class and the pass mark of 85% is not achieved.
See our Applying Professional Scrum course page for details on the class.
